2021 Events

During 2021 the society hosted several events online. This included:

A talk by Steve Berry, Managing Director of Mountain Kingdoms, on Tourism opportunities in Bhutan

A talk by Ngawang Gyeltshen, Executive Producer of the 2021 Bhutan Echoes Literature Festival. He talked with Michael Rutland OBE, Vice President of our Society.

A number of postgraduate Bhutanese Students and recent Student ‘Alumni’ also delivered short talks on their work and experiences of life in the UK.
